Suspension System

  • Our suspension system consists of two primary components: a spring and a shock absorber (damper). The rubber inner tube functions as the spring, and a ring of mesh material that restricts air flow functions as the shock absorber. As the rider hits a bump, their weight compresses the inner tube forcing air from under the seating area through the mesh. The mesh restricts the air flow, absorbing the energy and dampening the impact force, preventing the rider from hitting the ground. After the bump, the mesh restricts the rebound of the inner tube preventing the rider from being bounced off.
